In 2013,  she received a sanad\/ijaza in the complete Quran recitation from Sheikh Youcef Bensalah (Algeria), and in 2017 she received a sanad in the Jazariyyah Poem from Sheikh Isam Rajab (Syria). She is currently studying the recitation of Riwayah Shu\u2019bah under Sheikh Youcef Bensalah.\n\n \n\nShe has been teaching on a part time basis at Yayasan Ta\u2019lim since 2013, and is continuously attending classes to improve both her recitation, and memorisation of the Quran. She is a graduate of the University of Nottingham, UK, and qualified as an ICAEW accountant in 2000.
