Sheikh Seraj al Khamsa, originally from Libya, is a highly respected Imam and seasoned Quran teacher, renowned for his deep commitment to Islamic scholarship and community service. Currently based in Kota Damansara, he is the founder of Darul Huda Academy, a prominent Tahfidh center known for its focus on Quranic memorization and Islamic studies. With a Master’s degree in Islamic Studies from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Sheikh Seraj combines his academic background with a compassionate, accessible teaching style that resonates deeply with students of all ages.
Sheikh Seraj is recognized throughout the community not only for his knowledge but also for his dedication to fostering a spirit of unity and positivity within the Ummah. Among his many initiatives, his well-received annual Hajj Series Program stands out. This comprehensive program, tailored exclusively for prospective pilgrims, offers a step-by-step preparatory journey covering essential rites, spiritual insights, and practical aspects of performing Hajj. By the time participants embark on their journey to Makkah, they are thoroughly equipped with both the knowledge and confidence to fulfill this sacred obligation.
Additionally, Sheikh Seraj has recently introduced the Law of Inheritance Course, designed to educate and guide community members on the Islamic principles of inheritance, ensuring that participants gain a clear understanding of this often-complex subject.
